INSURANCE
Please arrange adequate insurance for your overseas trip. Any overseas trip requires insurance and it is good in case you lose something - or become ill. We speak Spanish - so there is no problem if anything arises! (The only thing that has happened is that Easyjet lost a suitcase - which we sorted out for the client).
ILLNESS
You should obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) - which will cover you for illness in Spain. You can telephone 090 7707 8370 or apply online at www.ehicard.org.uk This will cover you for NHS treatment whilst on the holiday.
1. Pick up Malaga airport. Please advise Alex on alex@joedaisyspain.com the arrival time of your flight and the flight number.
2. Please advise him of your mobile telephone no.
In the event that your plane is delayed by more than one hour:
Please text or call alex on (0034) 672 296 074 to advise him of the delay as soon as possible.
Failure to advise of a delayed arrival time of more than 1 hour may result in your airport pickup being cancelled.
PAINTING TUITION
We provide you with art materials, you do not have to bring anything.
The paintings that you create whilst in the studio are your property. Therefore it is your responsibility to take them home with you.
We advise that you bring a suitcase or other luggage item that is large enough to fit a canvas into.
However, experience tells us that you have four options in getting your paintings back home.
1, a large suitcase (preferred method)
2 carry the paintings as hand luggage. Some airlines allow this, others will charge you. Best advice is to check with your airline.
3 remove the paintings from their stretchers and roll the canvas. This is usually easier to fit into luggage or carry as hand luggage. The rolled canvas can then be restretched when you return home.
4 courier the paintings using DHL or similar. This is possible but in our experience it can be expensive for you.
We will assist as much as possible but naturally we cannot take responsibility for returning your paintings back to your country.
CANCELLATIONS
FULL PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED 8 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR HOLIDAY - so we can guarantee your accommodation and make sure we have loads of art materials for you!!
A deposit of £200 has to be made if booking more than 8 weeks in advance of your holiday date.
FULL HOLIDAY PAYMENT
If you cancel less than 28 days from your holiday - sorry no refund
If you cancel more than 29 days from your holiday - 25% refund
If you cancel more than 49 days from your holiday - 50% refund
In accordance with Trading Standards and Distance selling, you have 14 days from booking to cancel your booking. Deposit - less 2% credit card charge is refunded within this time period. (Your insurer should be able to cover any other cancellations - check your policy!)
PAYMENT
£200 is payable on booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. The payment must be made by the date on the Invoice. If you fail to pay by this date, Unfortunately, your place will be cancelled. This is in accordance with Trading Standards. Thank you.
CANCELLATION BY US
If, for some extraordinary reason we have to cancel a course.
We will of course, fully reimburse or offer a different date.
